The place is very homely, clean and the staff are very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. The decor inside and outside has a very beautiful touch.

We stayed in that hostel 1 night. Very nice for short term stay. Extremely good for the price we paid. Nice staff, positive and helpful. We were offered to change our room with one double bed (i travelled with my sister) to a bigger room with separate beds, which was nice. Simple but nice breakfast.

Very very nice place to stay. Little bit out of town but with bolt or one of the bodas you’ll be fine. They have a good tour operator with fair prices. They wil help you with everything especially Nam she’s the best. She helped me so much with getting my bag back from Naribi. “Budget” hostel probably one of the best in Arusha

Nam the host was so amazing . She made us good food and was absolutely lovely. The facilities were very clean and the rooms were cozy . There were card games and there was an opportunity to meet other travellers. I would absolutely come back here. The place is not far from Arusha town

We stayed at Mambo Arusha hostel for two nights before starting our Mount Kilimanjaro trek. The hostel had everything we could need! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings and loved the dinner that was made fresh for us as well. Our host helped us organize a taxi to Arusha and answered all our questions with ease. The yard and terrace were very pleasant to hangout in and were put to good use when we were laying out our gear the day before the climb.

Nam was a fabulous host. We were an adult family of 5 and she made us feel at home. It's in a remote area nestled in a village. We took walks around the village and everyone was very nice. It's great to see how the locals live. At Mambo we had 1 bunk room and 1 private room. Beds were hard but comfortable. The food was all deliciious. We stuck to only the local dishes and let Nam choose for us. She is a fabulous cook and always made more than enough food.

- Really nice design, many cozy seats to chill/read on, comfortable table to work/study , and overall very clean. Backpacker vibe. - Has hot water which isn’t found everywhere in the area. - Nam is awesome, very hard working and handles things really well, helped me a lot with many things. - They take card payment (5% fee) which is really convenient for foreign travelers. - Nice conversations with the host and other guests. - 20 minutes from city center but I would say it’s a nice location anyways, not hard to find, 5000 tsh on a motorbike to city center. I really enjoyed the nice small cheap restaurants nearby in the alleys. - Nice breakfast.
