PRIVATE: Full private use of 662-square-foot Loft with 2 bedrooms, full bath, and sitting room with privacy curtain. SHARED: Main floor areas shared with owner: front entry, kitchen, laundry room, half-bath and back deck. LOFT APPLIANCES: minifridge, microwave, air fryer/toaster oven, coffeemaker, hot/cold water dispenser. LOFT FURNISHINGS: Queen bed, double bed, 2 desks, 2 dressers, 2 cushion chairs, love seat, 2 wooden chairs, folding table with 4 folding chairs, keyed locks, black-out curtains. Pack-n-play available upon request. STREAMING: All 3 rooms have a TV with Roku and free Guest streaming on YouTube TV, Disney+, Paramount+, Netflix, Prime Video, and Peacock; each Roku remote has a headphone jack so you can listen silently if you wish. PARKING: Street parking April to October; driveway parking November to March. ONLY 1 GUEST CAR ALLOWED OVERNIGHT November to March.
YOUR HOUSE MATES: My husband and I occupy the main floor. I am retired. My husband works from home, in our basement. When our guests are using the loft sitting room, we typically use the basement or the sitting area in our bedroom to give them more privacy. Our adult son lives in the basement; he occasionally uses the main floor kitchen or laundry room, but pretty much stays downstairs. We also own a house in Mexico and spend a few winter months near the beach! During the months we are gone, the main floor is unoccupied; guests may still occasionally share it with our son.
Quiet neighborhood. Pond and natural woodland behind house. Playground a block away. Less than 15 minutes to MSP Airport, Mall of America, Ordway, Raspberry Island, Harriett Island Regional Park (Mississippi River), Downtown St. Paul, Minnehaha Falls, Fort Snelling, CHS Field, Allianz Field, TCO Vikings Stadium. 20-30 minutes to US Bk Vikings Stadium, Downtown Minneapolis, MN Zoo, Target Center, Target Field, MN State Fairgrounds, Afton Alps.
