Welcome to our fifth-floor, updated oceanfront condo, where happiness comes in waves! 244 Sandcastles is located in the beautiful Omni Amelia Island Resort, a world-class gated community where visitors find 3.5 miles of quiet beaches, 6 miles of biking and walking trails, as well as the possibility of golf, tennis lessons and spa treatments. Our one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo is the perfect romantic getaway or a luxurious single’s retreat. It boasts a fully equipped kitchen, large windows with beautiful views throughout, a modernized bathroom, and a completely private, spacious balcony facing the Atlantic Ocean. The Sandcastles complex also has an oceanside pool and a direct path out to the sand. Guests can easily walk to the main Omni hotel or the resort village (known as The Shops at Omni Amelia Island) for dining, retail, putt-putt, bike/golf cart rentals, a nature center and live music most weekends. The Shops provide the perfect little collection of stores and cafes. High-speed wireless internet is provided for the modern traveler’s convenience. There are also two flat screen televisions in the unit as well, one in the living room and the other in the bedroom. Note that the community laundry rooms are located on the 2nd and 6th floors (this condo is on the 5th floor.) Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park is limited only to Club members and their guests (unless you’re booking lessons or clinics). However, the refreshing Sandcastles pool, which has recently been renovated, has nice loungers for sunbathing and with so many places being walking distance, the shuttle service is less necessary. 244 Sandcastles will be awaiting your visit, and we will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities!

The Sandcastles complex is situated within the gated, exclusive Omni Amelia Island Resort, formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation. The world-class resort lines 3.5 miles of quiet beaches and Sandcastles has direct ocean views and beach access. Guests may also enjoy the newly renovated Sandcastles pool and the resort's six miles of biking and walking trails, two golf courses, scheduling tennis lessons, and booking spa treatments. Guests can easily walk to the main Omni hotel next door for breakfast or lunch, or the resort village (known as The Shops at Omni Amelia Island) for dining, retail, putt-putt, bike/golf cart rentals, a nature center and live music most weekends. The historic downtown of Fernandina Beach is about a 20-minute drive north.
