Welcome to A by the Bay, our stunning apartment located in the heart of Gloucester, MA. This beautifully renovated 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom 1st floor unit boasts the perfect central location, just across the street from Gloucester Harbor & Ten Pound Island. Unwind and savor outdoor moments while grilling on the barbecue in the backyard patio. A by the Bay is located in a charming historic building, built in 1865, sleeps up to 6 people, and is just steps away from all that Gloucester has to offer.
ABOUT THE HOSTS: We are Emily and Nick, your friendly and welcoming hosts. We love meeting new people from all around the world and sharing our local knowledge to help make your visit unforgettable. OUR STORY: We fell in love with hosting after our first Airbnb experience as guests. We enjoyed the personal touches and the opportunity to connect with our host and get insider tips on the best things to see and do in the area. From that moment on, we knew we wanted to create the same experience for others. OUR APPROACH: As hosts, we strive to provide a warm and inviting atmosphere where you feel right at home. We respect your privacy and will give you plenty of space to relax and unwind, but we're also available to answer any questions or provide recommendations to help you make the most of your stay. OUR INTERESTS: We both enjoy traveling, trying and cooking new foods, and exploring the outdoors. We also love music, art, and culture and are always on the lookout for interesting events and activities in the area.
Welcome to Gloucester, MA! Our neighborhood is a charming and historic area with plenty to see and do. Located just across the street from Crab and Pavilion beach, Fisherman's Memorial and right next to the Blynman Bridge, you'll be right in the heart of all the action. Summertime offers a beautiful arrangement of flower beds along Stacy Boulevard. During special events, fireworks can be seen from the property. Gloucester is known for its rich maritime history, and you'll be able to experience that firsthand during your stay. Take a stroll along the harbor and watch the fishermen bring in their catch, or visit the nearby Maritime Gloucester museum to learn more about the town's seafaring past. In addition to its maritime heritage, Gloucester also has plenty of art galleries, shops, and restaurants to explore within walking distance. Check out the Rocky Neck Art Colony, a vibrant community of artists and craftspeople, or visit one of the town's many seafood restaurants for a taste of the local cuisine.
