Welcome to the Curlew Dome! Our earth dome house is welcome to all looking for a quiet and undisturbed rest from the hustle and grind of life.  This is a great home base for hunting, fishing, hiking, and more around Curlew and the Republic area. Enjoy the scenic trail to the hilltop, offering stunning views of Curlew Lake, surrounding mountains, and the valley, not to mention the restful ample parking.
Hello! My name is Zak. Please let me know if I can help you with local attractions, food options, etc. Have a fantastic stay! We are available via Airbnb messaging to answer any questions and have managers in the area available to help fix anything that is not working or damaged.
Curlew Lake is often described as the best fishing in all of Washington state! The nearby town of Repulic has several bars and dinners, excellent pizza at Steve's, fossil hunting at Stonerose Fossil Center, a vibrant Co-op with lots of local and organic options, and several great coffee houses. The other nearby town of Curlew (smaller) has a general store with local art, ice cream, and several interesting historical things, as well as great swimming holes on the Kettle River like the Ole Swimming Hole (yes, that's its name!) with sandy beaches and freshwater. In the winter time, we are located within a mile of the Empire Sno Park turn-off, and some of the best snowmobiling in the state (over 50 miles of plowed trails). Park is ample. There are a lot of gravel mountain roads to explore, we recommend good tires (and 4WD in the winter) if you want to explore off the main roads.
