A GREEN LODGING OPTION.... We welcome you to stay at our beautiful property. Located 7 miles outside Ithaca we are surrounded by nature's tranquil beauty. With only 2 rooms in the Manor House and a small vacation rental on the east side we are the ideal place for a quiet relaxing get away from the stresses of daily life. Wake up in the morning with bird song followed by a delicious breakfast on our airy porch, in our beautiful dining room or on our patio with splendid views across the valley. Unlike other B&B's we have a menu to choose from and please let us know of special dietary needs before your arrival. Green practices are actively observed and electricity is generated by 92 solar panels. The Manor is situated on 15 acres of conservation land of which 5 acres is a dedicated Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary which is a home to and frequented by a host of wild life. Bring your hiking boots, bike, kayaks, swim suits and a bottle of wine to relax on our spacious patio's. visit the many local wineries and breweries in the area; There is so much to do!! Please note that our vacation rental (luxury double room) has its own kitchen and does therefore not include breakfast.

INEZ was born and raised in the Netherlands, studied biodynamic agriculture and specialized in cheese making. She lived for many years in England and South-Africa before moving to New York State in 2006. The interior of the house reflects her international background. TOM grew up in Interlaken on Cayuga Lake and has a degree in physical education. After spending 3 years at WEST POINT, he lived and worked all over the country for 30 years. He returned to the Finger Lakes in 2006 and is therefore well equipped to give you advice on activities in the area. Last but not least: Sally and Floyd, our dedicated greeters who will escort you as far as the front door!

The Finger Lakes has an international reputation when it comes to WINE; The hills near Enfield Manor are dotted with over 100 wineries, BREWERIES and DISTILLERIES so there is a choice for every one! Trail the CAYUGA WINE TRAIL, America's first and longest running wine trail. Or cross over to the SENACA WINE TRAIL along SENACA LAKE to watch the sunset while having dinner with your choice of wine or beer! You can find 4 State Parks within a 10 miles radius from Enfield Manor with numerous hiking trails of great natural beauty to be explored by you and your dog. Only 1 1/2 miles down the road you will find Robert TREMAN STATE PARK whereas WATKINS GLEN, 18 miles from Enfield Manor is famous for it's INTERNATIONAL RACE TRACK, one of the premier road racing facilities in the world whereas the WATKINS GLEN STATE PARK featuring 19 waterfalls in lass than 2 miles! For rainy days the Corning Museum of Glass is a must, or the famous Ornithology Lab at Cornell. We are here to assist you with planning your day!
