We are pleased to welcome you to Hopetown Homes! After spending four years together at college in Maine, the three of us became busy with jobs and life. We remained best friends since we were 18 years old but wanted to make sure that we could always make time to see one another and spend quality time together. Over the past decade, the Asheville area – including the very properties that you will stay at – offered us the opportunity to reconnect, build bonds and share our lives together during major life events (career changes, girlfriends, marriage and now kids!). This Cabin is located in, Scenic Wolf Resort, a mountaintop community approximately 30 miles north of Asheville, NC. The neighborhood lies adjacent to the Smoky Mountains and sits over 4,000 feet above sea level. The resort is surrounded by The Pisgah National Forest, has several entrances to the Appalachian Trail, and is only 5 minutes from the Wolf Ridge Ski resort. The community has two different access roads. Ski Valley Road is more direct and is likely what your GPS will take you on. However, this road is steep (often requires 4WD) and is often closed in the winter. Luckily, you can also take Wolf Ridge Road, which is less steep and remains open year-round.
