Come "Ride the Wolf", and ski, tube, and snowboard right inside the community. Ride the Wolf lift tickets can be purchased online or in person at the ski facilities. You get exclusive private "in the gate" access to dozens of hiking trails, and exclusive access to the easy Big Bald/Bald Mountain trails. The Wolf Laurel Resort Community has been described as "summer camp for adults", with lots of amenities to enjoy and a very family friendly community. At over 4,600 feet elevation at the home, with amazing sunset views, we are twice the elevation of downtown Asheville, and only 27 miles to unique Asheville. The closest grocery store and dining is the Mars Hill university town, only 15 miles from the security gate. The Madison and Yancey County areas of WNC are rural with lots of mountain scenery and views. The hosts lives in the Wolf Laurel Resort Community, and are happy to assist during your stay, you are not flying solo in a new community:)) The owners of this home are members of the Village Club amenities. Village Club amenities include the Pool, tennis and pickle ball courts, basketball court, trout pond for fishing, Community Center with library, and are available all year, some activities are seasonal.
