Property info

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. We have plenty of dirt roads to hike, ride ATVs or horses. Two small ponds stocked with Catfish and Blue Gill. Permission to hunt and fish granted during your stay. Beautiful sunsets and wildlife spotting are common. 2 night minimum

Neighborhood info

Tallmansville is a mountain village south east of Buckhannon WV. It is a loose knit collection of communities like Queens, Tenmile and Kedron. In years past it was home to major logging and coal operations. Today, while many in both industries make their home in Tallmansville, it is also home to a much broader, diverse work force. Some are recent arrivals who fell in love with the down home people and natural beauty, others have made it their home for generations. This is a rural location and Gram's is located on a one mile long gravel drive. Attractions off the property are generally not within walking distance. Parking is directly in front of the cottage and there is room for two vehicles. If needed other vehicles can park within 100 feet of the front door. Because of the rural nature, you will want to bring appropriate groceries for your stay. It is about 30 minutes to the nearest grocery store. Both Kroger and Walmart as well as other options are available in Buckhannon.
