Unique + spacious historic home in Downtown Lynchburg! -Across the street from donut shop & pizza place -MLK Art Collection + amenities from local black-owned businesses -Screened porch, hanging daybed, fast wifi -Walk to downtown shopping, restaurants, and breweries -15 min to Liberty Univ, 10 min to Univ of Lynchburg, 5 min to hospitals -% of profits support local organizations that fight poverty and racism -Small gatherings/events considered on a case by case basis! HEATING/COOLING: Central heat & air on main floor, and each bedroom upstairs has its own ductless unit with a remote. PARKING: Street parking is available on the side of the home. WALKING DISTANCE: donut shop, vintage clothing store, pizza place, Academy of Fine Arts, breweries, restaurants, downtown shops. *We do not rent to those under 25 yrs old.

The MLK Dream Home is located along 5th Street in downtown Lynchburg. It is adjacent to the charming Garland Hills Historic District, known for its architecturally impressive homes. 5th St is a well-traveled street which allows for easy access to anywhere downtown. You can expect to see a rich diversity of people from all economic levels. The sounds of the street might be noisy at times (a lively game of basketball at the park, a loud fire truck, etc.) We provide sound machines and ear plugs in each bedroom, but if these things would impact your stay and cause you to give less than a 5 star review, this home may not be the best fit. There is plenty to do within walking distance, but everything downtown is within a 5 minute drive. Uber is available as well!
