A brand new kitchen with dishwasher and easy access with digital door locks (no keys!). The apartment is laid out with a nice space for reading, a desk for getting some work done, and a brand new queen mattress where you can get a good nights sleep and wake up to the birds chirping in the surrounding large growth trees nearby! The original apartment was built in 1910, so you will find a ton of those details in the apartment but only in restored condition. I kept the original doors and flooring, among other details :) It's a one-bedroom, but I took the door off since it was just me to open the space up a bit. The place is perfect for an individual or couple coming to enjoy Midtown Memphis and will have all the essentials for you! Guest access This apartment is on the second floor, which you can access from the front or rear entryways. There is also a shared patio on the second floor that you are welcome to use and relax :) You will have full access to the apartment; there are no locked doors or cabinets. Other things to note The whole building has a total of 8 apartments.

Memphis, Tennessee, United States Walk out the front door and 100 yards down the street brings you to a bustling corner with a jazz restaurant, Moroccan and Mexican restaurants and, of course, a delicious BBQ joint. Keep walking or take a short uber another .75 miles to Overton square, one of Memphis' most happening areas with a host of other restaurants and bars. Head downtown the other direction in a short uber and you'll find yourself engulfed in Memphis' blues scene on the famous Beale street. In addition to the many great eateries (which you'll find in the guidebook i'll send you) there are several parks nearby and places to relax. Getting around Uber or Lyft are readily available and definitely the best option. There is a trolley that runs down Madison and will bring you to downtown if you want a little more of a historic experience heading downtown.
