Deep in the heart of Big Bend, only 5 minutes from Downtown Alpine, is nestled House of Trails on the slope of "A" mountain. House of Trails is a cozy, end- of- the -road, secluded get-away with a serene, desert -mountainous view and a happy trail! House of Trails features two bedrooms with comfy queen beds, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and Livingroom, all furnished with a Western flair and tiled floors throughout. Outside, sitting on the covered porch, you can breathe in and see the wide, mountainous desert, with a foreground of a pond made with local bentonite clay that holds the water very well and provides water to wildlife like deer, birds, and bats. This porch is a wonderful morning coffee place and has a terrific view of the sunset skies. If you want to take a trail, House of Trails, has a happy, well-maintained walking trail that meanders half-way up ‘A Mountain’ to a bench, or you can take it to Blue Water Natural Foods for a convenient grocery run. A carport is provided and a fenced yard for pets. As you trek your trail of life, we hope House of Trails can become a part of your Happy Trail Adventure here in the Big Bend!
