Property info

Lolo Hot Springs was a spot well-known by the local Indians, before the arrival of Lewis and Clark in the fall of 1805. It was a popular spot for wild game, meetings, and bathing. At our resort, you can enjoy the same waters that the Indians and explorers experienced over 212 years ago. Lolo Hot Springs sits at an elevation of 4,160 feet and we have trails that climb up to 8,000 feet. The snowmobile season runs from mid-December through March and the area gets hard packed snow through most of this season. Snowmobile conditions are excellent and perfect for exploring the area. On August 16, 1888, the Missoulian newspaper printed the following about the springs: "These springs are known throughout the Northwest for their health giving qualities...in a beautiful country, plenty game and fishing. Back in the day; board, room and bath was eleven dollars per week. Fare by coach to and from the springs was five dollars."
