We are a young family with four children. We enjoy the outdoors and love Jesus. We have a hobby farm and enjoy small-scale homesteading.

Property info

This five thousand square- foot lodge is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with those important people in your life. Our beautiful family room is filled with natural light, while a well-appointed kitchen awaits your culinary adventures. We have seven bedrooms with either king or queen beds and three and a half baths, with the second-floor bath sporting a luxury shower. The outdoor kitchen has a gas and a charcoal grill and a gorgeous patio with a fire ring.

The Mountain lodge is located in the heart of an Amish community that offers a unique and peaceful experience. Fifteen minutes from the lodge is 923-acre Little Buffalo State Park, offering hiking trails, Holman Lake, a grist mill & Blue Ball Tavern Museum. It is a lovely place to enjoy God's creation. Also, about fifteen minutes from the lodge is the Juniata River. The second largest tributary of the Susquehanna River, is a slow moving, low gradient river ideal for paddling, and is an angler’s dream. the Juniata River flows through a picturesque valley offering visitors a chance to explore the area’s wide fertile valleys, small towns, and the natural heritage of the region. From traditional fishing to fly fishing, kayaking to camping, the area’s waterways are the ideal setting for your next fishing trip or family vacation.
