Country charm boasted with a wraparound porch and swing. Conveniently located by a small town in the heart of Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, State Park hiking trails and Bald Knob Cross. Guests are welcomed with a continental breakfast highlighted with homemade strawberry jam or freshly baked zucchini bread. Settle in the evening roasting complimentary marshmallows by the fire pit. You get the entire main floor of this spacious quaint home which has a full kitchen, Smart TV and comfy queen beds.
We are usually around if anything is needed. Just a phone call away. However, if we are not physically available, we can still answer any questions by cell phone and get help if needed.
Nanny's Place is located on the edge of the city of Jonesboro, close to restaurants and stores. Jonesboro is a small town within minutes to many other Southern Illinois small towns. This quaint country getaway is laid back quiet on a hill, yet located in the heart of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, several State Parks and Bald Knob Cross. There are no other vacation rentals like this in Southern Illinois. Truly unique with the warm feel of grandma's house and all the loving care offered from her homemade goods. A place to relax in comfort and go back in time. For those who love to spend quiet time fishing on a pond bank, don't forget to bring your fishing poles. Our farm has a beautiful pond just for you! Nanny's Place is located on the edge of the city of Jonesboro which makes easy access to all the wonderful places the Southern Illinois area has to offer. Laid back quiet on a hill with plenty of privacy and private parking. Located in the heart of the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail, several State Parks, Bald Knob Cross of Peace, lakes for kayaking, fishing and many other attractions. Close by are restaurants, grocery stores, Wal-Mart, antique shops, boutique stores and gas stations.
