Primrose Cottage is a mountain cabin residing near historic Bethesda Lake. Bethesda Lake is an 11 acre stocked spring fed mountain lake with extraordinary mountain views! HOT TUB! Fishing/swimming/kayaking (kayaks provided)! Ride in to Wolf Pen Gap west trail head is 5-10 minutes away. It is located on paved roads and is about 4 miles from the city of Mena.
My wife and I are natives of the area and we love sharing this area with visitors. It is a real treat. We are the owners/operators of a large multi-location regional furniture, bedding, appliance and home good store headquartered Mena. It is called Washburn’s Home Furnishings - the store is great and is worth a visit while you’re in town! We created our rental cabin business, Stonehill Cottages, in 2014 and have expanded it significantly in recent years. It is a spectacular property located in the heart of the Ouachita Mountains and is home to the historic Bethesda Lake. Jessica designed and decorated these custom built cabins. They are very much a labor of love. We love Mena, Arkansas. We love the awe inspiring natural landscape that surrounds us. Come see us :) We like self sufficient guests that enjoy our cottages and the moutain setting in which we have them nestled. We are very close to town (3 miles) Come experience Stonehill Cottages...... you will not be disappointed :)
