Welcome to Rig Veda House designed by the founder of New York gallery Vivamus. This contemporary farmhouse is set on four cleared acres, with ten more of private forest. As such, Rig Veda House provides a sanctuary to listen to nature, without sacrificing style. Rig Veda House includes a curated mix of mid-century furniture and contemporary art, and top of the line sundries, linens, and kitchenware. The property is intended as a re-imagining of the vacation home.
Diane is an analyst in New York City and co-host of Rig Veda House. She grew up in a family of ten children, so she knows what it means to take care of a home for large groups. She loves allowing others to experience a new destination and to stay in a curated home. Luke is a New York professional and co-founder of design gallery Vivamus. Luke tries to design beautiful places after a lifetime of taking advantage of as much art, culture, and design as possible in the City and Upstate. Guests will be provided with a thorough house book, explaining everything needed to enjoy Rig Veda House, providing recommendation for dining and activities, and yes, the dreaded house rules. Upon booking, the owner and manager's personal phone number and email will be provided, and requests for further information will be answered as soon as practicable.
Rig Veda House is 10 minutes from the kayaking and boating of Lake Saratoga, about 15 minutes from Saratoga Race Course, and 20 minutes from the center of Saratoga Springs, with all its shops, restaurants, and upstate small-town appeal. Essentially, by renting at Rig Veda House, you gain the sophistication of a curated estate property experience, without sacrificing any upstate summer property charms, except maybe lake-house wood panels and portraits of horses from the 70s. Given Rig Veda House's more secluded location, driving is the only practical means of transportation, though Uber and cab services are available. For those that want to hike or bike, Saratoga National Park is a five minute drive away and has numerous scenic paths available for exploration.
