Walker, California is a small, quiet fishing town on highway 395. I have stayed here several times at other motels in Walker but this is the first time at the West Walker Motel under the new management

Walker is a great little town with just enough of everything. The Mountain View BBQ should be a must stop for any 395 travelers. Many people like Walker Burger but I wasn’t impressed. Beware, everything shuts down at 19:00 so you need to eat before arriving if you’re going to be later.DonUnited States - 10Scored 10

The hosts were very friendly and we had a nice comfortable room very clean and the grounds were wonderfully accented with flowers and trees. Nice to bbq 🍗 and eat outside. I really can’t say that anything there was not to our liking. Our friends loved it and this was their first time.

We enjoyed how quiet it is even though it’s on a busy road and it’s not far from our house in Reno. The owners are really great and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. They let us have our dog here and she just loves to play in the court yard. We plan on bringing our grandchildren with us next timeanne

Clean towels galore. The rooms (I booked 3 for my group) were all similar in excellence. The motel rooms look restored to its glory days and I enjoy the classic (some would say retro) style. The bed was modern and comfortable with no sag on either side. Checking in was easy and the wife and husband team were so helpful and friendly.
