Tentrr partners with private and public landowners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor locations. Our campsites are off-the-grid, meaning they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform. Larger parties can also use an extra 5-person pop-up tent stored onsite. You'll also have a picnic table, a dry box for storage, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs for outdoor furniture. Please note that heating units and fire pits may sometimes be subject to fire regulations and temporary burn bans - verify with your Tentrr Host and plan accordingly if these items are unavailable. The availability of other amenities like bedding or firewood also varies from site to site (some sites are more rustic and bare-bones than others), so we recommend reading through the listing description carefully before booking. Secluded campsite on the oldest dairy farm in Litchfield. Great for groups! Meadow Ridge Farm is a 110-acre working dairy farm. But don't be misled, the campsite is very secluded, located over a quarter a mile away from anything. You will get to the campsite by driving down the gravel road past corn fields, pastures and cows, too. The area has so much to offer, including award-winning restaurants, some of the most beautiful hiking trails, wineries, a distillery, and local farmers market. Three miles away the town green offers shops, historical tours and restaurants. White Memorial Foundation is a 4000-acre nature preserve 4 miles away with over 40 miles of trails and so much more! Fresh raw milk, local eggs, farm raised beef and maple syrup are available on site for purchase. We provide ample fire wood for your campsite so you have one less thing to pack! Additional wood can be purchased on site. Staying with a large group? Check and see if our other campsite, Meadow Ridge Farm Woods, is available too. Although they are both secluded from each other, there is a nice trail that runs between the two for your convenience. Site guidelines *Do feel free to explore the property. If you would like a tour, we are just a call/text away. *Feel free to celebrate at our sites, but leave items like balloons, ribbon and confetti at home, these items are detrimental to our local wildlife. *Don't leave stinky trash in the bin. We have plenty of wildlife around, once they know where the trash is they will be back to visit future campers. Nobody wants that! Please also empty the bin upon your departure.
