This 1925 Vermont farmhouse invites couples, family, and friends to reconnect for a quiet retreat amid Northern Vermont's natural splendor, with year-round activities and recreation on your doorstep. This private retreat, just four miles from Jay Peak Resort, boasts a spacious yard and patio with a private hot tub and seasonal, in-ground pool available during Summer months. Immerse your senses in the sights and sounds of nature; hear the crunch of the snow, leaves, grass, and pine needles underfoot, smell the sweet scent of pine and maple, see the night sky illuminated with stars. The home backs up to the Jay Recreation Area, a 300-acre natural area full of trails for hiking, jogging, mountain biking, skiing and snowshoeing. Access is a quarter-mile away. The Catamount Trail (the length of Vermont on skis) passes across the road on its final miles to the Canadian border. The main level level is generously furnished with cozy sitting areas and space to gather. A spacious living room features a plush sectional and sitting area anchored by an inviting wood stove. An adjacent den/media room offers a sofa, oversized beanbag chair, and a 65-inch smart TV.
