Our 'ohana' or 'family' lived in this house for about 8 years before we left for Italy. Throughout the years, we put in a lot of our love to our home by developing it to it's current state. It has a spacious green lawn, beautiful gardens with Hawaii's native plants, flowering bushes and multiple fruiting trees from avocados to lemon, tangerine, etc.. A refreshing pool that rewards you after a whole day of work. A large patio with a sectional and dining area. A zen garden at the front with beautiful wild monsteras. The whole property is surrounded with plants and trees. It is peaceful, quiet and serene. My family of four loved every bit of our stay in our home. Although the inside was very comfortable, my family loved to dine outside where we can watch and listen to the birds. We would stay outside until the nightime comes not noticing the time. The house sits in a gated property. When you drive in, you will see different trees, birds flying around, roosters and hens with their chicklings. There's a river creek along the neighborhood and our house has a beautiful view of it. Our neighbors have always been great. (Don't hesitate to say hello when you see them). Each property in the neighborhood sits on an acre of land so you definitely have privacy. It is highly recommended to get a car to get around conveniently. There is also a bus stop right outside the neighborhood gate after a beautiful, short walk. Wheeler base is about 5 minutes or less. Schofield is within 5 minutes. A gym and shopping center with a grocery store, gas station, nail and massage salons, and restaurants in 6 minutes. The most famous beaches in the island are found in North Shore which is about 15 minutes or more. At the same amount of time, you can be at Waikele Outlet enjoying a hot malasada after a full day of shopping. The house is conveniently located on Oahu's central area thus it is easy to access other locations. It is very private yet not isolated.
