Hello! We’re Cassandra and Zack Davis, and we’re thrilled to share our little piece of paradise with you. We call Marshallberg home, and in 2020, we purchased “The Net House,” which we completely gutted and renovated to blend its original, old-school charm with modern luxuries. It’s been a labor of love, and we’re proud of how the home has evolved while retaining its historic character. Marshallberg is a charming, quiet community just a short drive from Beaufort, NC, where you’ll find a variety of water sports, including parasailing, sunset tours, and the chance to explore local treasures like the Cape Lookout Lighthouse and Shackleford Banks. Downtown Beaufort boasts a selection of unique shops, many of which are owned and operated by friendly locals. A 10-minute drive past Beaufort brings you to Morehead City, offering even more water activities such as cruises on the Carolina Princess or Crystal Coast Lady, fishing adventures on local charter boats, or a relaxing evening in Downtown with scenic waterfront dining options. Head in the opposite direction, and a 30-minute drive will take you to the Cedar Island/Ocracoke ferry, where you can take your car or a bike across to Ocracoke Island. Once there, you can rent a kayak, paddleboard, or boat to explore the island’s waters, hike through nature trails, and visit the Ocracoke Lighthouse.
