The Seahorse is a new non-smoking 1/1, 400sqft apartment with 10ft ceilings located across the street from Lake Madeline. The apt. is located on the first floor of our home with its own private entrance along with 2 private decks overlooking the lake. Guests have use of our pool and our grounds, Koi pond, and green-house. The apt has everything you may need to enjoy your stay with us.
We have lived here on the Island since 2001. We LOVE the island and all that it has to offer. We will mingle or be at the pool at the same time as guests sometimes. Other than that, if guests would like to visit they certainly can come up to our decks or sit with to us and chat.
We live in a sub-division called Havre Lafitte here in Galveston. It is built around Lake Madeline and we are across the lake from Moody Gardens. It is a very nice, quiet area. Having a car is recommended. however, Galveston does offer Uber, Lyft, and Taxis. There is public transportation but guests would need to get to a Seawall stop to catch it. The closest stop is at 69th and Seawall. Guests park next to our driveway, they will see a sign for parking for the apt.
