The location is amazing and the family made us feel very welcome. It was a perfect stay. Back to the basics where you can enjoy being surrounded by nature. The house has a beautiful view and we loved their food & hospitality. Our kids loved it too. We hope to come back.

Ilholm was an incredibly kind and thoughtful host. He made sure we were warm and well fed when we were both sick. The home cooked food was delicious and our room was lovely. Your daughter in law is an excellent cook! We loved the wood fired heater, which Ilholm lit for us everyday. He introduced us to his family in the village and took us on walks around the area including to a very nice waterfall. The whole mountain setting was really beautiful and we learned a lot about Uzbek village life. Thanks for everything- especially our last day mountain adventure and film shoot! We hope all your dreams and plans happen in the future.

We really enjoyed staying in this little village surrounded by mountains, it was a good break from all the cities and the sightseeing of Uzbekistan. Ilxom, the host, was very welcoming and his daughter-in-law cooked some great plov and manti for us. We went hiking in the mountains and saw some incredible views. We were completely alone for the whole hike. The bathroom facilities were pretty basic but there was hot water and the bedroom was comfortable and warm.

The family were so hospitable to us, and told us about life in the village. We loved experiencing authentic rural uzbekistan culture, we were even lucky enough to be invited into a village party the day we arrived. The guest house is well located for hiking, we did a 3 hour round hike with beautiful views of the rolling hills. Very peaceful place. If you are a tourist stopping in Samarkand, you have to arrange an extra night here, to get the most authentic experience.

We really enjoyed the freshness of our break in Tersak, where we spent two days after the 3 silk towns. We shared Ilshom's family home, which brings together 3 generations and guests (a Russian couple exiled in Uzbekistan and their baby...). Ilshom supervises with a master's hand, but we also appreciated the little hands, his wife and daughter-in-law, who cooked us wonderful meals with all the Uzbek specialities, and a magnificent smile. We went hiking in the mountains, which wasn't easy as there were no signposted trails. And we took advantage of the spring water pool, which was great when the water was off. Similarly, the place is so welcoming that the electricity cuts in the evening are not a problem. In any case, without wifi, it's real relaxation! Ilshom was our taximan (for $40) and helped us find a shared taxi to Ferghana.

Greatest amazing location and so high level of sincere hospitality! We were there in the middle of March and it was beginning of spring. Ilhom, our host, took us from Samarkand to his house in mountains. First day was comletely foggy and it was really special atmosphere. To not let us get lost in mountains Ilhom's nicest daughter Nargiza went with us to show around. All Ilhom's family was so so nice! They prepared food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We spoke about local traditions, travels... Ilhom had a lot guests from different countries! One morning I wanted to try to milk a cow and Ilhom's wife taught me how to do it so on breakfast we had the very natural fresh milk which I just got from the cow) Dream about to return there again!
