Welcome to this newly renovated holiday getaway that offers a calm and refreshing environment. The self-catering home is is fully furnished. It is situated on the first floor with a balcony that overlooks the Umtamvuna river and that offers, over the lush tropical trees, a view to the estuary where the river flows into the Indian ocean . You have direct view of the Umtamvuna bridge and, if you love gazing at nature, the beautiful sunset views over the slopes of Eastern Cape across the Umtamvuna river can be enjoyed right from the balcony of the holiday home. 26 Montego Bay offers a home away from home great for relaxing and unwinding! This 6-sleeper holiday home consists of three bedrooms offering two queen-sized and two single beds. The master bedroom is self-contained. There is complementary Internet WiFi with free access as well as DSTV, making the beach holiday home entertaining while also allowing for a work-from-home environment, for those that may need one. Lovely hiking trails are set up under towering trees and lush greenery. You have full access to the private Rennies beach by the sea, within walking distance, and you can enjoy fishing at the river estuary. River cruises, kayaking and other water sports are available at The Riverside, a facility just across the river from the holiday home. 26 Montego Bay is located within the unique private Caribbean Estates in the lush tropical setting of South Africa’s KwaZulu Natal South Coast. The resort is bordered by the Indian Ocean on the East and the Umtamvuna River on the South offering guests direct access to a beautiful private beach and numerous entertainment opportunities within and outside the area for both adults and children. Within the resort there are swimming pools, a tennis court, clubhouse with indoor games, kids’ playground and putt-putt golf adventure accessible to guests. There is also a spa! Beside swimming at the beach, guests can also enjoy speed boats, jet skiing and even fishing. The resort is also very close to the world famous Wild Coast Sun with the Wild Water Park across the river. The famous Red Desert is only a few kilometres from the resort. If you love hiking, there are numerous places such as Umtamvuna Nature Reserve. You can also drive to Oribi gorge for zipline and suspension bridge adventures and to Lake Eland to enjoy wildlife viewing. Several world class golf courses are available closeby, including the San Lameer Country Club, the Port Edward Country Club and the Wild Coast Sun Country Club.
