Costa Smeralda is found along the beachfront of Margate’s Panorama Parade, overlooking the waves and rocky beaches of the Indian Ocean. Built back towards Marine Drive, Costa Smeralda offers access to both of these main roads directly from your spacious apartment. Just off the holiday hubbub, this property is a restful haven from the seasonal crowds, yet still reasonably close to all the attractions of the charming seaside village of Margate. Close proximity to the fishing pier, is a boon for those who love to take advantage of the great fishing waters off the South Coast, and provides a grandstand view of all the excitement of the Sardine Run every year. Costa Smeralda has a number of onsite facilities for guests to enjoy such as a swimming pool, outdoor chess, games arcade, playground and games room with various diversions. The complex features 2-bedroom, 6 sleeper apartments which overlook the beach and 3-bedroom, 8 sleeper apartments, with full sea views. All of the apartments are fully self-catering with private braai areas.

The South Coast and the town of Margate is one of SA’s favourite holiday destinations and has been drawing the crowds for many decades. A long, golden beach is the number one attraction in this friendly coastal village, and offers hours of fun most months of the year, with pumping surf, eager fish and playful dolphins frolicking in the waves. Competitions, shows and concerts are always on the go during peak season, while quieter times provide a tranquil spot to sun yourself for hours on end. Protea Banks, off the coast of Shelley Beach is a delight for scuba divers, and well-known for its abundance of underwater creatures such as ragged-toothed sharks, dolphins and whales at times. The Wild Coast Sun provides the thrill of gambling, water-skiing, live entertainment and exquisite eateries to enjoy, along with an 18-hole championship golf course.
