Wake up to the smell of fresh sea air and the sound of waves crashing. Take a short walk to the beach to enjoy your morning coffee or a quick swim in our icy sea waters... if you are brave. You are in one of the most quaint and idyllic small coastal towns in Cape Town. Whether you choose to embrace the lazy sea-side vibe and settle into a long breakfast at one of the beach restaurants or head into the bustling and vibey Cape Town city centre (30min drive) - your adventure awaits.
We are lucky enough to live in the same area and will be sure to be available as much or as little as you want us to be.
Melkbosstrand was awarded Blue Flag status in October 2019 and is therefore a very popular tourist destination. Kitesurfers are particularly drawn to our beaches and one of the best spots is on the beach right outside our place! There are many restaurants with amazing food and most are kid friendly - one even has an inside beach in the restaurant with huge play structures. Just a few meters away is a holiday park with numerous things to keep everyone in the family busy - huge size pool, small splash pool, little put-put court areas for just relaxing. But with the beach so close, you can literally just spend your time there and have an AMAZING break. Uber&#47;Bolt are present in the area, but there are also key access to buses if you do not have your own car.
