With breathtaking sunsets, the serene charm of Mtunzini and a stunning rim-flow pool, this is the kind of place where you truly unwind. To ease the impact of Eskom’s loadshedding, the property is equipped with solar panels and an inverter helping ensure a more comfortable and uninterrupted stay.
Having lived and worked in many countries I fell in love with South Africa, especially the charm of Mtunzini. In 2006, I poured all my energy into building this villa. Today, it remains my dream, my passion, and my constant source of inspiration. Would you let me share it with you?
Blessed with year-round great weather Mtunzini sits on South Africa’s east coast in KwaZulu-Natal, where the warm waters of the Indian Ocean meet untouched natural beauty. Often described as Zululand’s best-kept secret, Mtunzini is a peaceful hideaway for those who love the sea, lagoon adventures, nature reserves, golf, and safaris. Its greatest attraction is its pristine environment: lush indigenous forests, a sparkling estuary, and long, unspoiled beaches that invite endless exploration. The village itself is charming and well-equipped, with restaurants, cozy coffee shops, a Spar, pharmacy, clinics and other essential stores. Everything you need for a relaxed stay or spontaneous dining out. The lagoon is ideal for fishing and water skiing with boat cruises available for events or sunset outings. For sports enthusiasts, the local country club offers golf, tennis, and squash while the village also provides facilities for bowls and horse riding.
