The views were amazing and the suite was quite spacious. The location was fairly quiet and no disturbances from fellow guests. We were able to connect and watch programs on the large Tv screen. Wifi was free. The amenities were great, including and iron and hairdryer. There were also sachets of coffee, tea and sugar. The shower had good pressure, but unfortunately there was a note up asking for the jacuzzi not to be used.

Anyone who has visited the West Coast will be well aware of the beauty of the area. Many people say that once you have experienced the west coast, nothing will ever be good enough again. Although there are many places to visit along the coast, Langebaan, with its fantastic lagoon, is a must visit. Barely an hour and a half out of Cape Town, it is hard to believe that such a tranquil little town can still exist. Once a year mother nature spoils us with a flower show which is known around the world and Seagulls Guesthouse is a great place to base yourself for this display. In fact, you just need to walk around the Guesthouse to experience some lovely views of the flowers. There are also plenty of local places to visit along the West Coast... Almost year around sunshine, safe waters and reliable winds make Langebaan paradise for water sports lovers – particularly kite surfers, wind surfers, kayakers, yachtsmen, water skiers and fishermen. The tidal mud flats of the lagoon also attract thousands of migratory birds every year, and resident species are prolific and include greater and lesser flamingoes. The world’s largest breeding colony of black harriers also occurs in the area.
