Summerhill Self-Catering Apartments are a 3min walk to the beautiful main swimming beach of St Francis Bay! Great location set in the heart of the village we are a short walk to shopping centers, restaurants, banks/ATM's, boutiques, sport facilities and beauty spas etc. Our fully equipped deluxe accommodation comprises of 3 spacious, fully equipped studio apartments and two large, two bedroom family apartments. All units have separate entrances, en-suite bathrooms and kitchens. Luxurious white bed linen, down duvets,white cotton towels and bathroom amenities. Complimentary tea/coffee is provided. All units are serviced daily. (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays) Free Wi-Fi throughout & DSTV. The communal undercover Boma makes for all weather,relaxed entertainment - free braai wood is provided. Electronic gated, off-street parking with access control provided. Property is walled all round. Laundry services (on site- at an additional fee). Tours, activity reservations and airport shuttle services by arrangement & are available on request. BnB: Breakfast is offered off site at our local tea garden cafe, Rambling Rose, a short 3 minute walk from Summerhill. At R110 per person, which includes a plated English breakfast and Cappuccino. Vouchers may be added to guests reservation prior to check in or may be purchased at reception during their stay.
A quaint coastal village for the solo traveler, the working nomad, the couple looking for a quiet escape and the family needing a break. St Francis Bay and surrounds offers a variety of outdoor activities including golfing, surfing, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddling, canal cruises, boat based adventures and hiking to name a few. We have a number of restaurants and pubs catering for all taste buds as well as our very own craft rum distillery, One 33 offering rum and homemade cheese tasting. The well known St Francis Brew Pub hosts an array of entertainment from quiz nights to live music, or simply pop in to enjoy a craft beer tasting. A surfers paradise producing world class waves all year round. Rock & surf angling, diving, deep sea charters, whale watching. Enjoy a dish of delicious local calamari (squid) while watching the fishing boats in the charming port. Do a lighthouse tour and enjoy a delicious meal afterwards over looking the ocean. Our pristine Fynbos hiking trails offers safe and well marked routes for those who enjoy a stroll or run in nature. Dogs are welcome whilst on a leash. When you venture out you'll experience Cape St Francis, Oyster Bay and the greater Kouga area with loads more activities and experiences to enjoy. Come stay in the heart of St Francis Bay.
