The hotel Staff were very helpful and friendly. The free shuttle to and from the airport was a huge plus. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and snacks at the lobby! Fred Meyer's is within walking distance from the hotel, which made getting food and supplies very convenient. Thank you Golden North Inn for a wonderful stay!

Good hot breakfast every morning. Excellent helpful staff. The whole lodge is rustic and decorated with artifacts and signs depicting the history of Alaska - very rustic and full of character.

The cottage felt isolated without actually being all that far away from Fairbanks. The cottage was well-appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast foods included were great (fresh eggs, cinnamon swirl bread, butter and coffee fixings), and we enjoyed figuring out how to use the delicious quail eggs.

More like an airbnb, used the microwave (in common space) to heat the leftovers from the dinner. A 24 hr diner is within 5 minutes walking distance. Big bathroom, a nice lighted decent sized room with blackout curtains to keep the midnight sun away. The host Danny was friendly, he even helped me with one of my suitcases up the flight of stairs (all rooms are upstairs).
