We enjoyed our stay in this lovely family run Gasthof. The staff was super. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and great seating area. The shower area was modern. Everything was very clean. It is conveniently located in the center of town. Breakfast was good too.

Located in the centre of Ötz, Gasthof zum Stern is a traditional Tyrolean inn with historic frescoes, the oldest of which dates from 1573. The Hochoetz Ski Area is 400 metres away. The staff does a great job making you feel welcome and comfortable. The food is great and so are the amenities. I would recommend it to anyone and we will return if we're ever back in the area.

We literally checked out today, and I’m in a hurry to leave this review. In short, this is the best value for money we’ve experienced. In detail: The hotel has been renovated and looks beautiful, cozy, and very well maintained. We had a large room with a spacious balcony. The wooden herringbone parquet floor creates an incredible atmosphere. The freestanding bathtub is absolutely stunning, with premium fixtures. The tub fills with clear blue Alpine water — wow! The room also has underfloor heating, which makes everything even more comfortable. The hotel restaurant serves delicious food and exceptionally good breakfasts. We didn’t miss dinner even once — we always chose to eat at the hotel. A special mention goes to the spa. Two excellent hot saunas, comfortable loungers with views of the mountains and trees, tasty snacks, and hot tea. Towels, bathrobes, and slippers are all provided by the hotel. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and speaks multiple languages. It was a pleasure chatting with everyone. We would love to come back again!
