Nice and spacious room. Nice and clean bathroom with lots of towels. We could use an indoor pool. The outdoor pool wasn't open, but they did open it on our request. We had a very nice view from the balcony and the window in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Very good blind on the window allowed me to go to bed early in a dark room. There was a small refrigerator in the room with two small bottles of water. Breakfast was amazing, everything nice, really tasty and fresh. You couldn't possibly taste it all and eat there was so much of it. We got a coffee for breakfast and then we were offered another coffee. I was also able to hire for free walking poles. The whole place, everything we've used was nice and clean.

Typical Ticino-style Pensione Olanda is 1 km from the Madonna del Sasso pilgrimage church, and features garden and a terrace, furnished with deckchairs and offering panoramic views of Locarno and Lake... Really lovely place with many thoughtful touches. My room had a lovely view as did the terrace. The breakfast was outstanding with lots of homemade jams, dips and cake. The owner is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Our stay in Camedo far exceeded our expectations. Wonderful warm hosts, good food and some lovely walks. We had a lovely evening with interesting talks and live music and excellent grappa.

Located directly at Lake Lugano in the centre of Morcote village, Albergo Ristorante della Posta features a lakeside restaurant and a private lake access. Free Wi-Fi is available. Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was fantastic—relaxed, kind, and always helpful. They found me an adapter for electricity I didn't have, gave me the key to the beach even though it was not swimming season (in case I still wanted to go there), a waiter in the restaurant was full of positive energy, and I enjoyed listening to his Italian. The pizza in the restaurant was extraordinarily good and it was so nice to eat it on the hotel terrace (with the view of the lake). The hotel's location was perfect, it is in the very center of Morcote, stairs for climbing to the church and views of Morcote were very near, bus station is immediately in front of the hotel, and the main pier for boats is also there. If you are coming from Lugano and Melide (probably), I recommend to choose boat for a part of the travel- it is great to be on Lugano Lake. In Morcote, don't miss Parco Scherrer- it is not too big, but it is more museum than the park, and peace and beauty there were one of the top moments of my whole Switzerland travel.

Late arrival was no issue, just as making me a great steak. Lot's of attention for my little dog, they took good care of. Breakfast was good and I was ready for the rest of the trip. In daylight I then noticed the awesome location of the village. Breathtaking!
