Featuring a private beach, lakeside sauna and shared terrace, this inn is located by Lake Ranua in Southern Lapland, 4 km from Ranua Zoo. I really liked how peaceful and quiet the location felt, especially with the snow all around. The igloo itself was warm, surprisingly spacious, and the big glass window made the whole experience feel special. Being able to lie in bed and watch the northern lights drift across the sky was the absolute highlight. It’s the kind of moment you don’t forget. The staff were friendly and the whole place had that cosy Lapland charm that makes you feel far away from everything in the best possible way.

I think it is in a secluded area with a good chance of seeing the Northern lights. However, we didn't experience it. I think the dinner was decent, cooked by the host (though the service was a bit slow). It's good that we had our own room and bathroom.

Great location (5 min from the Norwegian border), spacious room, well-equipped kitchen and shared living room, friendly host. Quite cheap accommodation. Highly recommended stay!
