I don't want to spoil the surprise, but you owe it to yourself to stay here if you're in Fukuyama. Frankly, it was just a midpoint stop for us between Hiroshima and Osaka, but it became one of the highlights of our trip. A truly strange and unique hotel experience that I've never had anywhere else in the world.
