The staff is so welcoming, kind and caring. The rooms are beautiful, clean and well decorated. It felt like home! There is a personal touch in every aspect of the experience. Even breakfast is made to order and there are home baked goods made by 3 lovely chefs!! Wish we could stay the whole summer!

We stayed here for two nights during December. It was excellent. Brandon was great, and made delicious breakfast every day. The Primrose Inn is located perfectly in Bar Harbor and Acadia national park is only a short drive away. It is definitely worth a visit in winter when the town and park are gorgeous but not very busy!

Also an easy walk over the bridge to Portsmouth, NH. Can't wait to go back and experience this location in different seasons.

When we arrived, someone gave us a tour of the hotel. Ultimately, the meals were very good. it was homemade food made with love. they were very respectful of my gluten allergy. If we visit again, this hotel is gonna be our first choice!
