Everything, family room with great spaces, location couldn't be better. The staff at reception super friendly, clean, I mean, 100% recommended and would go back there anytime.

Beautiful property, stunning views and very modern. In a very safe and quiet neighbourhood. The dorms are very spacious and clean. All information required is provided to you prior to checking in and staff are very helpful and friendly. This has been my most comfortable and favourite accommodation since being in Europe and would highly recommend.

Awsome place with everything in the vicinity and walkable. Right behind the famous Chappell bridge.

Lake view rooms fantastic. Free bus to town. Restaurant value for money. Sauna facilities and access to lake and pool for swimming great.

Residence Kastanienbaum is a spacious one bedroom flat in a quiet neighbourhood ten minutes by car/bus from Lucerne. Both the bedroom and living room have a wonderful lake view (although we had pretty foggy weather all week). The kitchen is really well equipped and the welcome goodies are really tasty and much appreciated. There are two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, sink and washing machine/drier; the other with toilet, sink and shower. The extra bed in the living room was super comfortable as well. We stayed for a week in January and felt right at home. The Lucerne visitors card was very handy to take public transport to the shops and to visit Lucerne.

The location is amazing, right in Lake Lucern and that mountain view, how could you not love it. The hotel facilities were great and thid hotel and location stay was one of the more relaxing I have had since travelling Europe. The food at the hotel restaurant was incredible, and breakfast was great. The staff were so helpful. Even though it's out of the city centre there is a train station nearby which made it easy to travel to most areas.

Fantastic property! Beautiful architecture, surrounding views across lake and mountains make this place a great retreat, yet it is very well connected to Luzern. Cuisine is exceptional and staff are wonderful. Will be returning to experience spring as well, great all year location!

The location is absolutely magical and the hosts superbly welcoming. The guest unit is underneath the host’s own residence and they manage to be accessible for any query while allowing guests real privacy. The attention to every small luxurious detail is just fantastic, from lounging kimonos to the fruit basket and secret stash of chocolates if you feel wicked. We even got a lovely hand towel as a gift when we left. An absolute treasure of a place.
