As soon as myself and partner arrived, we were blown away by how lovely and homely the whole area, but especially the hut! Such a cosy, private location with a beautiful scenic view! Hot tub does take a bit of getting used to and getting exactly right if you’ve never experienced a fire hot tub before, but was simple to grasp due to the detailed instructions in the welcome manual and QR code directing you to a YouTube video. We’d even ran out of supplies to have a last minute hot tub on our final night, and in well under an hour, more supplies were dropped off. This was just one example of the hosts going above and beyond with this 3 night stay. A wide variety of cereals were provided, some lovely fresh milk already in the fridge, and lots of details in the welcome pack regarding scenic walking routes to take into the town, local bars and restaurants etc, which all made our stay even more special! Would thoroughly recommend, and we’re already considering when to book for our return! Thanks guys!

Our group had an amazing stay at this property! The place was spacious, incredibly clean, and the beds were very comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. The host was lovely—friendly, quick to respond, very informative, and extremely accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. There were, however, a few minor inconveniences. While the kitchen was large, there were no dedicated living room spaces, which made it a bit tricky for a big group to relax together comfortably. The only smart TV was in a bedroom, so entertainment options were limited unless you brought your own devices or speakers. Additionally, the cooker was quite slow, so if you plan on cooking, be sure to allow extra time. The jacuzzi was a great feature but took a while to heat up. Also, if you plan to use the fireplace or jacuzzi at night, be aware that there are no outdoor lights, so consider bringing extra lighting if needed.

Absolutely beautiful little place ,every little detail has been thought of from little snacks and cool drinks and milk in the fridge to toiletries,fans provided too for us warm bloods :) Colette is an amazing host who goes above and beyond to help even providing lifts as and when needed Yes it is a flat under her home but she leaves you to your own devices and we honestly never heard a thing The garden area is so cute and looks beautiful lit up on an evening the fire fly lights are jst beautiful so relaxing Spotlessly clean place and smells divine We are 100% going back hopefully over the Christmas period to see the garden beautifully lit up Lovely chilled weekend in york made much better by a very accommodating host :)

Bloody brilliant! , no messing about straight in hottub was hot ready for use, had a visit from Bobby 🐱 we had him sat with us all evening , really good experience bed was comfy and everything was clean and easy to use.
