We had a truly wonderful night here and couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate our honeymoon. The host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, offering both charm and comfort. Dinner and breakfast were delightful, but the real highlights were the fresh bread and exquisite wine—absolutely delicious! 🥰

Friendly host, spacious room which was comfortable and a lovely pool setting to make relaxing on a hot day enjoyable after a day of exploring.

Honestly disappointed. The exterior of the building is in really bad shape, nothing like what’s shown in the listing photos. I almost couldn’t find the place because it looked nothing like what I was expecting from the pictures. The rooms themselves were new, but the setup was strange — it’s basically a shared common room with 3 separate sleeping areas, not private rooms like you’d assume. If you’re traveling with people you don’t know well or want actual privacy, this is not it. No lift, and we were on the 3rd floor. If you have luggage, mobility issues, or just don’t want to do stairs every day, be warned. Listing implies beach access — it’s not directly on the beach. There is a beach bar, but it’s on the opposite side, not connected to the property. No parking available either, which wasn’t mentioned clearly upfront. Overall: the gap between the photos/description and the actual place was the biggest issue. Manage your expectations, or better, look elsewhere.

Brand new apartment - very stilishly decorated.

We made the decision to stay at Antico Borgo dei Templi on the spur of the moment having found ourselves in Agrigento in the late afternoon having not completed our sightseeing and reluctant to drive the 170 odd Kms back to Trapani where we were staying. Our journey to the property was a bit intimidating as we drove higher and higher into the hills, but nothing could have prepared us for the surprise when we actually reached Antico Borgo dei Templi which is a genuine oasis nestled in the hills above Agrigento with views across to the bay and probably some of the most spectacular panorama to be seen in Sicily. We were warmly met on arrival and treated with great courtesy by the family that own the property and could not have been more content with our room and the wonderful facilities offered. I cannot recommend too highly Antico Borgo dei Templi and the wonderful family who own and run it, it was a genuine pleasure to stay there.

We loved the property, it was very clean and modern and all of the facilities were exceptional. We had a beautiful breakfast prepared by the owner in the morning and even got a room upgrade which was so kind and appreciated after a very long travel day. The location was incredible just seconds away from the main strip of town. We highly recommend staying here!

View is amazing, bed was super comfortable with firm good pillows. I would buy the mattress! Place was very clean and host was super friendly. Even gave us a lovely gift. Pastries and stocked fridge with juices, milk and beer.
