It’s a delightful boutique hotel with stylish, modern rooms. The location is perfect for a tourist, just an easy 50 yard walk to the bus stops for all three lines to the Valley of the Temples. Breakfast is simple and delicious with all the bases - cold meats and cheeses, cereals, juices, pastries etc - covered. The gentlemen on reception, who doubled as coffee makers at breakfast time, were patient, helpful and kind. It would be an easy choice when I return.

Would definitely recommend staying here! We arrived early and the hotel owner checked us in early as our room was ready. Hotel is in excellent location - very close to the station. Staff and owner were very friendly, accomodating, and very helpful. They also helped us with taxis and some Italian and were patient in translating Italian to English. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We stayed for one night at Krysos Bed & Breakfast in Agrigento, and without a doubt, it was the best stay of our entire trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, Andrea, our host, made sure we had a comfortable stay. He met us in front of the building, helped carry our luggage to the rooms. Andrea’s hospitality and attention to detail really set this place apart. He provided us with helpful local tips, shared audio guides that enriched our touristic visits and experience, and was always available to assist, including sharing locations for free parking spots for our car, which made everything seamless. The rooms were newly renovated, nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. We loved the selection of coffee and tea options available as well. The location is also very central and convenient for exploring Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. Breakfast was served at a nearby bakery, where we tried the best pistachio ice cream we had in Sicily, something Andrea made sure we didn’t miss! He also recommended a local restaurant for dinner (Sal8), which turned out to be the best dinner we had during our entire Sicily trip. This stay exceeded our expectations. Andrea truly goes above and beyond as a host.

we loved the beautiful farmhouse and the surrounding view! The family was very warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. We also added dinner, and it was delicious! Getting there was a little tricky, but the owners sent us good instructions, and we had no trouble finding the place.

Valley of the Temples was a great experience.

Valley of the Temples was a great experience. Traffic is crazy for the size of the city. Finding parking was an adventure. You better have a gps to figure out the streets in Agrigento. When we found a place to eat, we couldn't find a parking spot. A plus for Agrigento is its location overlooking the Valley of the Temples and surrounding area and sea view.

Agrigento is a compact town so getting around is easy.

Agrigento is a compact town so getting around is easy. It's pretty quiet (October) and mainly filled with locals. The Old Town is picturesque. There were still plenty of restaurants open. My primary purpose in going to Agrigento was to see the Valley of the Temples which I would recommend as it a unique site and worth a visit. The local buses are inexpensive and can get you around. Taxis for the rest. I did speak with folk who raved about La Scala dei Turchi (Turkish Steps). Given another day I would have definitely visited as it is reminiscent of the salt cliffs/steps in Turkey. Apparently the other beaches near Agrigento are also good. I'm not a beach person though I do like the coast. To sum up Agrigento is worth a day preferably two if going around Sicily or longer if you're a beach lover. There are an abundance of places to eat

The Valley of the Temples is simply outstanding!

The Valley of the Temples is simply outstanding! A must visit for history and archeology fans! Add in the Turkish Steps nearby, the churches, strolling down Via Garibaldi , great food and you can easily spend a few days!

Agrigento offers so much more than the Valley of the Temples...

Agrigento offers so much more than the Valley of the Temples. It is a beautiful city with stairway alleys, beautiful buildings, and a love of culture. Highly recommend that you reserve a few hours for the city once you’ve covered the incredible ruins.

Immerse yourself in Sicily's history with a visit to Agrigento. From the breathtaking Valley of the Temples, visiting the home of writers Luigi Pirandello, Andrea Camilleri and Leonardo Sciascia to the nearby Turkish Steps, there is always something interesting to see and experience.

Lots of steep streets and alleyways but didn't get lost! Best to visit the Valley of the Temples early in the day before it gets too hot. Make sure you wear a hat and have plenty of water. Take the time to visit the town, especially the cathedral and greek church

The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. Everything was thought in detail. The access with qr code is quite smart. The arrival was quite shocking as the apartment is located in a street full of garbage (that’s a common problem allover Sicily) and buildings falling apart, but the Alcobia camere is like an oasis. You simple go up the stairs and you are in the city center that is quite beautiful. The breakfast is in 2 locations near the rooms. Good food and nice service in both.

The apartment was perfect for our one night stay (Sicily road trip). Alida met us at the apartment and directed us where to park. The apartment was quiet and the beds comfortable. We returned from the Valley of the Temples and Alida had left us a traditional Sicilian dish to try, which was so thoughtful and delicious. A beautiful view from the balcony out to the Valley of the Temples that glow gold at night.

We loved the villa and the garden. and especially the wonderful pool, All very spectacular. The breakfast was delicious with local delicacies and pastries and served under the Wysteria terrace. The views from the garden were fantastic. It also helped that it is very close to the Vale of temples one of the must do sights in Sicily
