This is an outstanding property for the price. Built by an architect. Run by the family. This clean white boutique hotel with upgrades including small private pool with extraordinary views of the Zeus Temple (Citi dei Temple) was a remarkable find. Custom 'fragrant' herb tour of the gardens and excellent food a highlight as well (including a juicer in which you can customize your morning juice - I had carrot, pineapple, ginger apricot juice!)

OMG this was one of the best experiences i have ever had. I don't know even where to start from, The kindness of the owners was heartwarming. Starting from the check-in i got lost a bit because i was dizzy from the long trip to Agrigento. The owner came to get me although he didn't have to. The room was amazing, comfortable, beautiful colors and fully equipped. The next day His beautiful sweet wife prepared breakfast which was made of heaven from Pastries, to fruits, to yogurt to fresh coffee and juices. This was nothing compared to the well educated and smart wife which i had an amazing profound conversation with. The location was so accessible i even ordered take outs from different restaurants during my stay and they all knew the B&B immediately Unfortunately my stay was only for two days but they simply took my heart away ❤❤❤

The area is unique but we chose to visit only the main attractions . The landscape is fantastic, the people are friendly. If you don’t have high expectation you can enjoy Agrigento! Scala del Turchi and the Valey of the Temple was nice.
Loved the Valley of the Temples and the churches in town. The town itself is a very interesting warren of passages, narrow winding streets and many stairs from one level of town to another. It's lovely.
A must see for everyone visiting Sicily! Valley of the temples is simply breathtaking! Unfortunately I couldn't walk around as much as I have wanted because I hurt my leg. If you go, make sure to wear comfortable clothes and walk everywhere. If you can't walk, there is a taxi at the parking that'll take you to one end of the valley for a small fee and you can walk back.
I walked around the city of Agrigento and ate some gelato.. my main goal here was to see Valle dei Templi, which was a great place to visit. Well-preserved ancient Greek structures. Recommend going early in the morning when they first open both to avoid the heat and the crowds, or in the late evening there are ways to come at sunset and see the temples with lighting. You can buy tickets online and skip the ticket sales line in person. I stayed in a place in San Leone so I was closer to the Valle, it was a six minute drive. The parking was €2 first hour, €1 second hour, then 50 cents an hour. I passed about 2.5 hours in the park, so paid €3.50. There’s a snack bar inside the park and a few vending machine with drinks. Also nearby that people like to visit is Scala dei Turchi, which is about 20 minutes from Valle dei Templi by car. I went at sunset and it was beautiful. The actual cliffs are closed off for now to tourists to protect the rocks from erosion, however some folks still managed to get down there. There are great lookout spots up high for photos so you don’t need to contribute to the damage of the rocks.
The temples are really the highlight of Agrigrnto. One is so complete it gibes a good idea of how it use to look. The walk down the avenue is well thought out and with lots to look at and read about. If you have difficulty walking the lenght there are options for hire and the path is good. The musuem is also a must for context and the local area. I missed the cats that were around the entrance when I was there before. The city is close to a beachside with a regular bus service to it. Nice and sandy and a long stretch. If you are a theatre buff the a visitt to Pirandello's house is a must, although getting there by bus is not so easy, but worth the effort. A lovely resting place for him. The bus website is excelllent with timtable and maps so very easy to get around if you have no car. Have a look at the town as it has the feel of a town witout the tourists.
Charming town with a nice vibe. Clean and safe. Just outside the town is the vast temple complex Valley of the Temples (Valle dei Templi), and a few kilometres away you will find the Stair of the Turks (Scala dei Turchi) and a nice beach.
Agrigento
We travelled to Sicily with 33 people and stayed at B&B Montemare. The location is remote and set in the mountains, and the view is EXQUISITE. We rented vans & cars, which were necessary to travel to and from the B&B. The B&B rooms were spotless and very pretty, the restaurant served delicious food (we ate breakfast and dinner there several times), and the staff treated us like family. Enza and Miguel were particularly kind and accommodating, and we won't soon forget them. In a word, OUTSTANDING.
Agrigento
We were lucky to get last-minute the top-most room with a great view over Agrigento and the sea. The B&B had almost a boutique hotel flair, with touches like a huge breakfast buffet and a large set of amenities in the bathroom. Filippo was a great host, very caring, and I wish him best of luck with the B&B extension as he is having the building next door renovated (they only started working around 10am, so no prob in terms of noise). Recommended! Too bad we only stayed one night while traveling around Sicily.
Agrigento
It was far more the best accomodation in our trip in Sicily. We were in early april - and this was the ONLY room wich was not cold at that time. Perfectly clean, stylish decoration, close to the city with easy parking and relaxing facilities. The owner was also supernice, and the breakfast - altough everywhere was told that the breakfast is excellent - here was REALLY fantastic. ( We could have it in the balcony with a view to the valley. ) We can just recommend the place - absolutely worth the price.
Agrigento
The owners were very kind and helpful!!! The space is well equipped with everything you need for your stay (they also included some coffee, sweets, water). The flat I took had the perfect amount of space for a solo traveller or a couple. They welcomed me with some Agrigento sweets that were delicious and offered to take and pick me up from the valley of temples. We also arranged a visit to the Stairs of the Turks. I learned a lot of historical information from Agrigento with Davide.
Agrigento
This B&B is located on Agrigento's main street and is very well appointed. The owner does not live on the premises and, when booking, requests that clients call 1/2hr ahead of arrival. This is important because access is complicated by local regulations governing traffic and parking in the street. Sabrina is very welcoming - as is everyone in Sicily - and she has taken a great deal of trouble to put in every facility and comfort in her establishment.
The reception lady was so polite, she speaks only Italian, but she managed to explain us about how to go to Valley Di Temples. And next day after we checked out, she allowed to leave our bags on reception, so we can walk without backs until our bus comes. The breakfast was better then in few others hotels where we stayed in Italy and Sicily. The room was big and shower room was big asweel. Good location. Train station and bus station walking distance.
Agrigento
Exceptional setting in the hills around Agrigento. Many details in the estate to creaty a comfty and cosy atmosphere. Fantastic hosts who make the visitors feel like personal guests. The best breakfast I have ever had in Sicily - or Italy for that matter. The list can go on and on, but I will run our of superlatives before I can mention everything, so I just want to say a big THANK YOU!
Agrigento
Wonderful property surrounded by vineyards. Perfect for relaxation. Great swiming pool, very comfortable beds and best food and wine we have tried in Sicily! Everything was homemade and prepared with care. Daniella, Giuseppe and Maria are excellent hosts and made us feel at home. We cannot wait to come back!
Agrigento
Wonderful room and even better host. Francesco helped with our bags and to get settled. He explained the generational home in interesting detail. The views of Agrigento from our windows, and balcony especially, were captivating. Morning breakfast was a delicious and social experience. Bravo Francesco.
Agrigento
You have basic breakfast options, and access to the kitchen if you want to prepare your meals. Bed was comfy, access to WiFi, AC, private bathroom with hot water. Is conveniently located, 5 min walking from Agrigento centrale, and 8 min from Bus Station (to Scala di Turqui, San leone Beach, etc).
The location of this hotel cannot be beat. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable with a terrace that provided a glorious view of the great temple. Apart from the many other comforts of the room, this hotel had the best shower we’ve had on our two week trip in Sicily.
Agrigento
One of the best places we visited in Sicily. The hosts were just amazing - helpful, friendly and it was great to talk to them. The location is perfect - great view, and it was close to the attractions and restaurants. Beautiful garden and delicious breakfast. We will definitely come again!
Agrigento
Our three nights at Villa La Lumia turned out to be the highlight of our three-week stay in Sicily. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, and Luigi and his family were incredibly welcoming. Family dinner on the terrace is not to be missed!
Agrigento
The hosts Fabio and Sandro are so warm and welcoming. The entire place is tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was absolutely delicious. We stayed at 6 bed and breakfasts/ hotels in Sicily and this was by far our favourite.
Agrigento
The hotel is a renovated and redesigned old Italian farmhouse. It’s located a short drive from the valley of the temples, the Turkish staircase, and old town Agrigento. The facilities were modern, clean, and as advertised.
Agrigento
Beautiful modern rooms with a gorgeous terrace and view. Host are so kind and provided the utmost hospitality. Breakfast was by far the best one we had during our stay in Sicily. Highly recommend!
Agrigento
This accommodation was fantastic. Wonderful apartment, very friendly owner, perfect facilities, great location near the train station. The best accommodation on our monthly trip to Sicily.
The breakfast was lovely - lots of choice and they helped us with our trays so we could sit on the terrace. Gardens & pool are lovely. Also free parking beside the hotel.
Agrigento
There was nothing to dislike about the property and the staff. The best in Sicily I would say.
