By far the most impressive stay during our japan trip. We booked the traditional room. It was so comfortable. We didn’t take extra bed sheet. Only stay that I was able to sleep as much as I can. I am so picky when it comes the bed and pillow. I think what makes difference we were able to open window, and nothing can beat the natural air flow in the room. Front desk people were so friendly. Checking check out everything was smooth. If I ever come to Kyoto again, Kyomachiya Ryokan Sakura Urushitei would be my first to check. And room was by far the largest room we stayed during Japan trip

The location is very good, it is close to a few train stations with good connections, making it easy to reach various parts of the city, the airport and the Shin-Osaka station. The room was clean, and all of the amenities listed on the site are there. The landlords are easy to reach over booking messages if you have any questions, and they respond quickly.

Set in the centre of Kyoto, 1.5 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, the historic Enso Machiya offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden.
