The meals, morning prayers, and fire ceremony were profound experiences in which we felt fortunate to participate. We were grateful to have had at least one night at Köyasan Syukubo Ekoin Temple. Just cross the street for a metro station and a bus stop. Overlooking the river. Regarding our room it was huge compared to hotels in Japan, our bathroom had a hot tub, pyjamas (kimono style), definitely a Japanese styled bidet and a very large TV screen. They allow luggage storage before check in and after check out. Decent staff. Totally recommended

Patina Osaka offers 5-star accommodation with a hot tub. Great and comfortable interiors, it feels tranquil and relaxing. Room is spacious and has everything one wants from 5star hotel. We loooved the Panasonic steamer in the room. It was also very nice gesture to provide me with birthday cake and wishes, I really appreciate it.

Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The interior and finish were amazing , the blend of Japanese and Scandinavian furnishings were so elegant. Staying at the traditional Japanese room gave us a true Japanese experience.
