Absolutely love the beautiful oriental interior with Kyoto traditional decor elements of the hotel. The room is well set up with great amenities (and a wonderful mini bar), love the bathtub. I slept so well in the room as it is very quiet. If you love Thai massage this hotel will be a plus as they have a Thai spa. Restaurants provide both Japanese & Thai food (and very good). Lounge areas are great comfortable and spacious work areas for meetings. Most of the hotel staff speak English so it was very easy to communicate our needs.

The staff has always been very friendly with us, since the first moment: they kept our luggage, they recommended us how to move around the city and they sent our luggage to the next hotel. The breakfast was awesome, and it was the best out of all the hotels we visited in Japan. It included both Western and Asian options. It also has many restaurants inside the hotel, and there is amazing Onsen (warm bath). Moreover, it is next to the fish market, where it is possible to access through a sidewalk from the hotel and it has a free entrance. Finally, the location is pretty close to Kyoto station (1 stop by train ~10 minutes). If I had to stay again in Kyoto, I would definitely stay again in Emion Kyoto Hotel.

J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse is situated in Hongu, a 10-minute drive away or a 70-minute walk on the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route from Kumano Hongu Taisha Grand Shrine. The hostel was fantastic. We rented a tatami room, which was spotless, very comfortable and with a really nice view. The onsen was amazing, we absolutely loved it. Everything was clean, there were snacks, eggs to boil in the onsens in town and all cooking and serving tools to eat them afterwards. The bathrooms were incredibly clean. This was our favourite stay along the Kumano Kodo, despite being the cheapest.

The hotel staff were super helpful. The room was great, exactly as we have imagined it. It gave us the chance to experience a Ryokan. I definitely recommend it.

Situated along the Okawa River renowned for beautiful cherry blossoms, Imperial Hotel Osaka is a prestigious 5-star hotel with elegant guest rooms, a fitness centre and various fine dining options. Great hotel by the river and short distance from Umeda. Free hotel shuttle to the station and back.

The temple and grounds are stunningly beautiful. The room was the nicest I've had on this trip - comfortable and beautiful. The temple is cold but the heaters in the bedrooms made it very comfortable. The meals were delicious - again some of my best on my entire trip. They were very generous in sharing information about their religion and culture, and inviting tourists to participate in activities that helped us to better understand the life and routine at Ekoin. I appreciated the booklet in the room that explained how to navigate different things (e.g. the meditation, the morning service) so that I better understood. It was a special experience and was grateful for the opportunity to visit here.

Cu o locație excelentă în centrul orașului Kyoto, Nazuna Kyoto Higashi Honganji se află la 6 minute de mers pe jos de TKP Garden City Kyoto și la mai puțin de 1 km de Gara Kyoto. The room was very cosy and comfortable. Perfect for unwinding after busy days of sightseeing and crowds. The bath does wonders for tired legs from walking. The room is stocked with an assortment of free drinks and traditional snacks are provided in the lobby. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station and close to other public transport. We walked to most of the main attractions. The staff was very helpful and everyone spoke very good English so it was easy to communicate. Our breakfast was cooked with care each morning, making it a great start of each day. We would definitely come back!
