The luxurious Shangri-La Far Eastern,Taipei, features spectacular views of Taipei 101 and the city skyline. The offers a rooftop pool, a fitness centre and a spa. Spacious rooms with comfortable beddings. Everything was perfect. Can’t comment on F&B as we didn’t dine there. There is a lovely breakfast place near the hotel which offers good Taiwanese toast at a reasonable price. The only drawback is the hotel isn’t located near train stations. It’s not a deal breaker as the nearest train station is about 10-15mins walk.

The location is close to the train station and malls. The staff specially front desk was very kind to lend me his umbrella because it was raining when I checked out. The breakfast is also good specially during Sunday, its a buffet. The spa was also a relaxing facility of the Inn to keep you warm esp. when you are visiting Taipei during a cold season with 14°C outside temp.

Artistic and chic, the luxurious W Taipei enjoys a central location in Xinyi District. The service was exceptional. Best I've had at any hotel in a long time.
