From the moment you enter the property, you know you're in for a special treat! Upon entering reception, we were warmly greeted and efficiently checked in. After that, we had a personal tour around the property and then were shown our wonderful chalet. The deck is large and has a fabulous view of the canyon forest. The bed is comfortable. The bathing area is AMAZING. The restaurant staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and the area. The food is great! We already have it in mind for our next visit to the Storms River area!

Spandau Manor is highly recommended for both short and longer stays in Graaff-Reinet and outstanding value for money. The property is immaculate and everything has been thoughtfully taken care of. We truly enjoyed the beautiful garden and the lovely swimming pool, and the level of privacy is excellent. Good restaurants and the main atractions are in walking distance even as a supermarket. The staff was super attentive and arranged everything we needed: from pick-up/drop-off to the airport to early check-in and beverages while waiting. They also provided us with a super nice early take-away breakfast at 5:30 AM. The owners were super nice and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and comfy. I will definitely stay here again when I'm back to Port Elizabeth.

The historic Royal St. Andrews Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre is located in Port Alfred. The rooms were very well turned out and very spacious, the staff was exceptionally accommodating, and, and the food delicious.

The cabins were super clean and comfortable. Sometimes there is just a sense that even the pillows and duvet is new and the owner prides themselves on hygiene. Had a pretty garden, was peaceful and easy to access from the center of town.

Offering an intimate Big 5 safari experience, Quatermain's 1920's Safari Camp features a boma bonfire and BBQ facilities. It is located in the Amakhala Game Reserve. It's a really authentic bushexperience. Very exclusive. Only 3 tents. Delicious braai. Amazing hottub for stargazing. Nice Safari stories by Ryaan. And Zaan was a perfect guide during the game drives.

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Maitland Nature Park, Thunzi Bush Lodge offers country style, self-catering accommodation with traditional décor and a balcony with forest views. The place was well kept and very nice views of the bush from the Charlet. We quite enjoyed the hiking trail which was a good distance to walk.
