The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us advices on where to eat as most of the restaurants in the area were fully booked or closed as it was Christmas. The breakfast at the accommodation was great, the rooms were spacious and warm as well as the elevator. There is also an electric charger for the car and a locker for the skiing equipment.

The 4*S Naturhotel Outside is located in the center of Matrei in East Tyrol, surrounded by the mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Each room has a balcony with mountain views.

We stayed for one night while passing through. We arrived in the evening, and the hotel welcomed us warmly. The room we stayed in was pleasantly spacious, cozy, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. We settled in and rested, but unfortunately, in the morning, after breakfast, we had to leave without taking a walk in the surroundings. Overall, we had a good impression; it’s a nice place. Everything went well.
