Breakfast in the morning was perfect to start the day , staff were very friendly and helpful , room was a nice size for the few days we were there , close to everything also , would highly recommend and will stay again if in darwin , for the price you can't go wrong

Not operating in Nov as they wind up at the end of October.

Not operating in Nov as they wind up at the end of October. We went to parap markets on Saturday morning but not as big as mindil. Lots of food choices though. Taxis are cheap enough and needed to get around in the heat.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Darwin apartment. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped with everything we needed, and had stunning views over Mindil Beach. The location was fantastic — central and convenient for exploring Darwin — and the beds were super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

This apartment was not as close to the centre as I had hoped - probably my mistake - but with at least a 20 minute walk to Mitchell Street and Smith Street (which appeared to be the central areas) I would not say it was in the "Heart of Darwin" - but it was very clean and spacious. There are several free bus services for transport around the area and these helped with the distances to the areas attractions - Mindil Beach, Fannie Bay Gaol, Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and so on.

Friendly and helpful staff; a lovely courtyard and swimming pool. The restaurant serves delicious Nepalese food. It is close to the park heading towards Mindil Beach. The hotel has a dilapidated charm about it and I would happily stay there again.

The Argus is in a great location and great value for money. Close enough to walk to bus stop, the waterfront, the Esplanade, Mindil Beach, restaurants and entertainment. We found the all the staff friendly and very helpful. Our room was all we needed, as we only really slept in it. The facilities at the hotel were great. A gym and swimming pool, and the continental breakfast had plenty of options; you could pay extra for a cooked breakfast. We will be recommending The Argus to family and friends who travel to Darwin.

Darwin City Hotel was fantastic. The staff were all lovely, great location and so close to everything. The rooms are clean and well presented with everything we needed for our stay. Right round the corner or down the road from Darwin Waterfront, Bicentennial Park and the esplanade, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes. Short drive to Cullen Bay for dinner or Mindil Beach for the markets.
