Australia- Prime location. Right in the middle of the city and within walking distance to good pubs and restaurants (Hanumann and right opposite Sweethearts Piano bar). You don't hear any of the street noise which is a big bonus!
- Continental breakfast had a bigger and better spread than some other restaurants.
- The hotel smells nice and loved the big comfy bathtowels.

Not operating in Nov as they wind up at the end of October.

We went to parap markets on Saturday morning but not as big as mindil. Lots of food choices though.
Taxis are cheap enough and needed to get around in the heat.

Easy walk to all conveniences within the city. Lovely views from the Apartment looking over the golf course to Mindil beach. Nice sunsets from the balcony.

The lagoon pool is world class if you have kids. 150m long with a beach at one end. My kids were in and out all day. The gym is small but totally adequate with 2 treadmills a stepper and a spin bike along with some free weights. The location is fantastic for the Mindil Beach Markets and we walked in to town a few times which took 15 minutes. The food offerings around the pool are pretty good with enough healthy stuff to get by.

Vitina Studios are in a good location. You can walk to the Botanic Gardens, Mindil Beach Sunset Markets and Kopi Stop ( amazing coffee and Laksa). The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The outdoor area was lovely but the pool was freezing cold!

Friendly and helpful staff; a lovely courtyard and swimming pool. The restaurant serves delicious Nepalese food. It is close to the park heading towards Mindil Beach. The hotel has a dilapidated charm about it and I would happily stay there again.

Walking distance to Darwin CBD and Mindil Beach. Comfortable beds, the 2 bedroom apartment was a good size for 4 people. Nice to have the pool.

The Argus is in a great location and great value for money. Close enough to walk to bus stop, the waterfront, the Esplanade, Mindil Beach, restaurants and entertainment. We found the all the staff friendly and very helpful. Our room was all we needed, as we only really slept in it. The facilities at the hotel were great. A gym and swimming pool, and the continental breakfast had plenty of options; you could pay extra for a cooked breakfast. We will be recommending The Argus to family and friends who travel to Darwin.

Older style property but convenient for an overnight stay prior to flying out of Darwin. Plenty of facilities, restaurants nearby. Close to Parap Markets & just a few minutes drive to airport, Fannie Bay & Mindil Beach etc.

Darwin City Hotel was fantastic. The staff were all lovely, great location and so close to everything. The rooms are clean and well presented with everything we needed for our stay.
Right round the corner or down the road from Darwin Waterfront, Bicentennial Park and the esplanade, shopping centres, restaurants and cafes. Short drive to Cullen Bay for dinner or Mindil Beach for the markets.
