הגשר הישן מוסטר
One of the country's most recognisable landmarks, this elegant arch bridge spans the river Neretva in Mostar's old town. The Old Bridge was built by the Ottomans the 16th century, where it stood for more than 400 years until it was destroyed in 1993. A UNESCO-led initiative resulted in the successful reconstruction of the bridge, which opened once again in July 2004.
