We visited Golden Sands for the first time a few years ago, staying at another hotel, and that was when we first discovered the beauty of this Bulgarian resort. This year we were happy to return, and we chose Hotel Astoria. Why did we decide on Astoria? Both my wife and I work in the hotel industry in one of the northern capitals of Europe, so we approached the choice from a professional point of view. We carefully read the reviews on Booking.com, looked at the overall rating (which was high), and considered the location — close to the sea and the central points of the town. And we were not mistaken! From the moment we arrived, we evaluated the housekeeping with a professional eye, and it was excellent. At check-in, we faced a small difficulty, which sometimes happens, but the reception team, especially Elena and manager Katrin, resolved it quickly and professionally. This not only did not spoil our mood but actually lifted it and left us with admiration. Well done! The food and entertainment were also on a high level. We are certain we will come back again. We were all relaxed n had fun as all is inclusive. Hotel took care of everything. , food was exceptionally superb lots of variety and tasty, kids choices as well.

We celebrated my birthday at Melia and were truly very happy with our stay ❤️ We would like to sincerely thank the entire hotel staff — from the reception team to every single employee who made our holiday comfortable and enjoyable. It is rare to experience such a high level of care, kindness, and professionalism. A special thank you to the animation team — the young animator and yoga sessions were absolutely wonderful and deserve the highest praise. Such a positive atmosphere and warm energy ❤️ We were also pleasantly surprised by the food selection. Even in spring, there was a great variety of dishes, including healthy and dietary options as well as meals children enjoy, which made everything easy and comfortable for families. The restaurant was always spotless, with beautiful white tablecloths, and the staff worked so professionally and discreetly — everything was cleaned immediately and service was excellent. The hotel area is large and beautiful, and despite it being the beginning of the season, there was still plenty to do. It was also very comfortable that communication in English was easy, and staff kindly switched to Russian when needed. The only small downside was that we were not very lucky with the weather, and the pool felt a little cold for us. We were hoping for a bit more SPA experience, and from May 14 to 18 we would have liked to see a few more sauna options available. However, this did not spoil our holiday at all. Overall, we are very happy with our stay and sincerely grateful to the hotel for the care, atmosphere, and wonderful birthday memories. Thank you for making our stay so special 🌷

What a hidden gem!! Had a wonderful stay! The hotel is near the beautiful bulgarian beach, food was great, I especially enjoyed the yummy breakfast. The staff was really kind and helpful, gave me some great tips for activities to do around. Will recommend and visit again for sufe. Thank you, palma hotel for the wonderful stay!

We loved that the pool areas were cleaned and very well maintained. The variaty and quantity of food was amazing, I don't know if anything was missing, everything I can think of was there! There were so many activites outdoors and indoors, we couldn't even try every one because the options were endless. The staff are very polite, Martin the bartender at the Deluxe hotel pool bar was amazing!

The location is absolutely perfect. I am pregnant and have a 4year old boy. We were right on the high street as soon as we walked out of the hotel. The view from our balcony was stunning and we loved looking at the turquoise sea. Staff from reception to restaurant and bell boy were extremely friendly and helpful. I got sick one night and the reception staff called a dr immediately and stayed with my toddler at 3am so I can get treated

The hotel is very good, ideal for a family with small children, the food is excellent, everyone will like it. The aqua park is interesting for children. A ten for the animators who keep the children in the mood all day long, and make interesting parties for adults every evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our 6-day stay. I sincerely recommend it to everyone.

We wanted to leave this review while we were still at the hotel, but Booking.com only lets you post a review after your stay has ended. We've stayed at quite a few hotels in Golden Sands over the years, and honestly, this has been our best experience by far. Thinking about it, we can't remember being treated this well anywhere else we've stayed in Europe. The staff are genuinely polite. The food deserves a special mention. There was always something good to eat, and not just the usual all-inclusive options. Pizza and poultry were always available, but every dinner also included different specialties like jamón, veal, lamb, duck, or whole roasted suckling pig. We were honestly impressed by both the quality and the variety. Another thing we really appreciated was that the all-inclusive non alcoholic soft drinks and the ice cream were actually well-known quality brands, not the cheap generic products you often find at similar hotels. It's a small detail, but it makes a noticeable difference. What really made this stay unforgettable, though, was the management. We had a personal issue that had absolutely nothing to do with the hotel, yet they went out of their way to help us. They didn't have to, but they did, and we'll always remember that. No hotel is perfect, but it's very hard for us to find anything worth complaining about here. If you're looking for a hotel in this price range, we honestly don't think you'll find a better option. We'll definitely be back.

I liked the food and the rooms. I also liked the program, the breakfast is until 10 am, the lunch is from 12:30 to 2:30 and the dinner is from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The staff was very kind.

Everything was great - from the sky bar and infinity pool, to the all inclusive food, and most of all - the professionalism of the staff. I would like to express specific gratitude to Ioana from the Reception stagf who went out of her way to give us recommendations and make us feel at ease.

The sunbeds and umbrellas provided by the hotel made our beach days incredibly relaxing and comfortable. We were particularly pleased with our premium sea view room, which was offered to us upon arrival. The room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views of the sea. Overall, our stay at Palm Beach Hotel was nothing short of perfect. The combination of superb hospitality, diverse all-inclusive dining options, and the prime beachfront location made for an unforgettable vacation. The hotel was very clean, our room had a beautiful sea view!! Good variety of food and friendly staff. We travelled with a small baby and the hotel staff allowed us to check in earlier what was a pleasant surprise ☺️
