I especially appreciated the card provided by the hotel, which can be used for public transportation as well as transfer to the airport – very practical and convenient. Room is spacious and modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel is also modern and has great facilities, such as the gym and the restaurant - with an excellent breakfast and reasonable prices for very good meals. Room service was also very fast. The location is good, very close to the Basel SBB train station and close to most of the tram lines. Staff was always there to help.

- Really helpful, friendly and caring staff - Basel card as a compliment 😍 - For me personally the bed and the pillows were comfortable - I had a calm night and no one bothered me - Great location, Basel Bad and Basel SBB are within walking distance (if you like to walk as much as I do) - Tram stop nearby Yes, maybe minimalistic and no modern design, but I prefer less design and a decent sleep at night than modern hotels with horrible pillows where isn’t possible to have night rest.

Great location a few minutes walk from the Basel SBB and tram stops outside the hotel. Very comfortable bed and extra pillows available. Breakfast was wonderful with a good choice. I forgot to ask for gluten free bread.

Location was excellent as it was very near to Basel SBB - easy access to and from city. Area was brightly lit. Hotel room was clean. A couple of good eateries inside the station for a quick bite and Markthalle (food court equivalent) was close by. Transport hub for trams and buses almost at doorstep of hotel to go to most tourist sites.

Literally steps from the Basel SBB station. We had a view of the front of the station from the room balcony. No worries about catching an early train. A friendly, clean and comfortable hotel for a good nights sleep and a good breakfast. Spacious room with a view and a good shower - and, oddly, an exercise bike in the room if you like that sort of thing. Perhaps a little dated now (including a highlight of a hilariously 1970s booklet about the hotel dragons) but spotless nevertheless.
