The hotel offered a luxurious sophisticated experience but was also refined and elegant. We loved our room’s styling, the super comfortable beds and the glorious round bath. The Roof Bar on 29/f had amazing views, we loved the delicious dishes in the Cantonese restaurant and the Lobby Bar had wow factor and great cocktails.

Excellent location, short walking distance to The bund, and the busy Nanjing road pedestrian street. Staff are friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

We had a great time staying there. Excelent location, the breakfast was amazing. Room were quite big, very clean. Friendly staff and a lovely housekeeper, she was always with a big smile.

The location is perfectly situated directly near the famous bund. The staff prepared us with everything we needed to get around Shanghai! The breakfast and complimentary evening snacks were very tasty and we had ample choices!

The quality of service was next to none. All staff members were friendly, professional and helpful. They also kindly prepared a child's bed, toddler slippers, robe, and a toothbrush set for my child - very thoughtful. The staff at the pool were very nice, too. My child and I spent a long time in the spa adjacent to the pool because the water was warm and it was the right depth for a child. The staff offered to turn on the jets, but upon realising we were just chilling in the water, they brought some floaties for us to play with. The breakfast wasn't as bad as some of the reviews mentioned here. I found that there was plenty of food to choose from in the semi buffet styled central island, as I wasn't too interested in the hot food selections - mainly eggs etc. Child dined half price as it wasn't part of the accommodation package, but we were given colouring pencils to colour in the kids' menu - a nice touch. The Christmas ambiance is always great at the peninsula.

Great location and friendly staff

Hotel location is superb. Breakfast buffet had variety of food options and very prompt service. We used the swimming pool, sauna and steam, all was outstanding.

Location was perfect being 30m from Nanjing East station. Only took us 30ish minutes to get there from the airport via the fast train and metro. Staff were the highlight. I had order something from Grab but our driver delivered it somewhere else but the staff did everything they could to contact the driver and get them to deliver it to us. Very friendly. Rooms had everything you needed and if not, you could just take the lift down to any of the other stores as it’s located on the top floor of a mall.
